Hi,We love to see old churches with original wall paintings and this one did not disappoint. It was built in 975. The wall paintings are vibrant - at the nave you see the 13th century figure of St. Christopher and the martyrdom of St. Catherine on the south face of the Norman arcade. This church is in the tiny village of Little Missenden. Small village but with atmosphere. Nice old pub there where movie filming has occurred. The vicar at the church gave us a tour. This is well worth a visit.
