I'm having a problem with the Church of the Chosen Ones. Whenever I play a skirmish that includes them (which is likely, since I like to have a lot of factions), I always end up having one of my survivors become a cultist. That wouldn't bee too much of an issue if it didn't spread like a plague. The problem I have is that I want to have the Cultists eradicated from my fort, but the only way I can do that is by killing the survivor that it affects. That's also a problem, since I like to have small, tight forts that rely on every survivor contributing. As far as I can tell, the cultist perk doesn't work like the devout perk, which can be removed (either by not having a church or by making that survivor bartend for a while), so I'm limited to killing a useful survivor (the last one I had was a level 19 soldier) or just kind of rolling with it. But if I just roll with it, I have to be very careful to make sure that survivor doesn't have any contact with anyone for fear of spreading their cult. I don't like that idea much, either.
So, what is the solution? I think it could be solved with a config option. The config option would have to be a debug option that allows you to remove perks (preferable) or a config option that allows you to disable entire factions (not so preferable). Regardless, something should be done, since I really don't like the fact that the cult basically removes one of my survivors from play at random.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
